Electrical/Electronic Engineering Graduate - Defence/Nuclear/Aerospace/Power Industry - based Bristol -Salary £20,600 to £21,600 (potential £29/30K after two years)
We are looking for an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Graduate to work at a Bristol location as an Assistant Engineer
Graduate engineers joining our client's company at this level would join their IMechE/IET/RAeS accredited graduate development scheme with a view to obtaining chartered status within 4 years. Ideally possessing MEng (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering you would enjoy a wide ranging and varied training scheme.
Candidates with BEng with Honours (or equivalent) are also invited to apply
Working as a member of a multidisciplinary team (including other professional engineers) you would get the opportunity to contribute to the business straight away. Essential attributes to your success would be an enthusiastic attitude and an innovative and enquiring approach to problem solving.
Throughout the graduate scheme, you will encounter every phase of the engineering design process and will acquire skills in a number of techniques and computer design tools. The scheme is individually tailored to each graduate, but typically lasts two years and consists of a number of three-monthly placements including design, manufacturing and site work. Throughout this scheme you will be assigned a mentor who will aid and assist you in your career development.
Graduates qualify for a 6 monthly salary review for the first two years and a cost of living increase every March so earnings will rise commensurate to your input and new experience
The potential is available for salaries to reach £29/30K after two years
All candidates should be capable of achieving British security clearance
